What Are Prayer Stations?

- Each station includes:

How to Start the Prayer Night

Psalm 34:1-3 "I will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth..."
Explanation:
- Corporate worship is central to God’s heart (Revelation 7:9-10).
- Participants contribute to a collective hymn of praise.
Directions:
- Read Psalm 100 and reflect on God’s greatness.
- Write 1–2 sentences of praise on the provided paper.
- Fold the paper so it’s hidden for the next participant.

Station 2: Abiding in Jesus
Psalm 34:4-7 "I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears..."
Explanation:
- Abiding in Jesus means remaining connected to Him, drawing from Him continually (John 15).
- Staying connected produces peace, joy, and fruitfulness.
Directions:
- Read John 15:4-5.
- Compare fresh grapes on the vine with “rotten” grapes off the vine. Taste a fresh grape.
- Reflect on times you were disconnected from Jesus and repent of anything that pulled you away.

Station 3: Taste and See
Psalm 34:8-10 "Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good!"
Explanation:
- God satisfies spiritual hunger and provides for daily needs.
Directions:
- Read Matthew 6:25-34.
- Eat the bread provided as a symbol of God’s provision.
- Bring personal needs to the Lord in prayer.

Station 4: Discipleship
Psalm 34:11-14 "Come, O children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord..."
Explanation:
- Discipleship allows God to grow His Kingdom through teaching others (Matthew 28:19-20).
Directions:
- Thank God for those who influenced your faith.
- Pray for those you are mentoring or for opportunities to disciple others.
- Optional: Write a thank-you card to someone who impacted your spiritual journey.

Station 5: Trust in the Lord
Psalm 34:15-18 "The eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry..."
Explanation:
- God is near to the brokenhearted and hears our prayers (John 14:27).
Directions:
- Write down fears, worries, or anxious thoughts.
- Place the paper at the foot of the cross.
- Read Philippians 4:6-8 and pray, leaving burdens with Jesus.
